Excellent individual outcomes underpin A-Level success at Kent College

Kent College is celebrating another set of successful A-Level results, with a 100% pass rate and nearly 20% of grades awarded the top A* mark. The school in Pembury is also proud to announce that the majority of grades were awarded either A*, A or B.

The school’s exceptional academic provision and unrivalled encouragement of girls’ potential has seen girls excel across the curriculum. 53% of Maths students achieved an A* or A grade, 55% of Geography students achieved an A*, 75% of Economics students were awarded A* or A, and Textiles saw an outstanding 83% of students awarded A*. One third of the year group also took the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in addition to their A-Levels, and 65% achieved an A* or A grade.

With over 29 A-Levels on offer, as well as the EPQ, Kent College girls are able to choose from a very broad range of subjects, ensuring that a wide variety of university courses are open to them.

Headmistress, Ms Julie Lodrick commented: “Once again I am delighted to see our girls doing so well, especially in light of sitting the new exams. The school’s academic development and pastoral care builds all-round confidence ensuring that all girls continue to surpass their expectations and nurturing individuals to reach their potential. I am extremely proud and excited about the wonderful futures ahead of our students, given the outstanding examination results they have achieved this year.”
