Greece Trip

Year 10 to Upper 6th went on a school trip to Greece during October half term. On the first day, we went to the Acropolis in Athens and looked at the Parthenon and the museum, which was astoundingly large. After this, we drove to Delphi, which was located in the mountain and it had the most breath taking view. The next day we then went to the site of Delphi and the museum, then we drove to Olympia and again went through the mountains to get to the hotel. The third day we went to the site of Olympia and saw the original Olympic running track, which was long and we then went onto Bassai and looked at the sacred temple located in the mountains. The next day we went to Mycenae, which had spectacular views as it is located on a mountain and on that day we also went onto Corinth. Finally on the last day of the trip we went to Epidaurus, which had a theatre and was very large with great acoustics. We then went to the theatre of Thorikos, which is recognised for its elongated shape and then we flew home.
