Sally-Anne Huang attended a Girls’ School Association School herself, Bolton School in Lancashire, before going up to Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, where she read Classics and English.

Her first teaching post was at Sevenoaks School where she taught both A levels and the International Baccalaureate. She was Housemistress of a 13-18 girls’ boarding house there.

Before coming to Kent College, Sally-Anne taught at Roedean for seven years. Her subjects there were Classical Civilisation, Latin and English literature. She was a Sixth Form Housemistress and Senior Housemistress. For her last four and a half years at Roedean, she was sole Deputy Head with both academic and pastoral responsibility for the school.

Since 2004, Sally-Anne has been a governor of the St Bede’s School Trust in Eastbourne, working with the senior and prep schools there. She has particular responsibilities for Child Protection and Special Educational Needs.

Married to Alexis, Sally-Anne has two sons. Her interests include cinema, the life and works of Mary Shelley, and looking after the family’s various pets, including a dog and four cats.
- Sally-Anne is a member of the Girls' Schools Association (GSA), the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) and the Methodist Board of Education.
