Prep School
We are delighted you are considering Kent College Prep School for your son or daughter. The school is currently co-educational to Year 2 with boys joining Year 3 in September 2024 and each year thereafter until the school is fully coeducational in 2027.
Families are invited to visit us throughout the year or join Prep events. Families with pre-school children are very welcome to join the Parent and Toddler Group that runs Friday mornings, 10.00am-11.00am during the term.
We hope you and your child will spend time getting to know us in advance of applying for a place and joining us.
Prep Forest Fun

Take part in fun outdoor activities in our forest where you can meet our teachers, chat to current parents and tour the Nursery and Prep School. For families looking for Nursery to Year 6.

Parent and Toddler Group
Fridays, 10.00am-11.00am
Families with pre-school children are welcome to join our free Parent and Toddler Group. These sessions feature fun play, creative crafts, and enjoyable singing or a story time. It's a fantastic chance to explore the school, meet other families, and let your child have a great time playing. The sessions are suitable for parents with children from new-born to 3 years.

Term Time
We warmly invite families to visit our Prep School for an individual tour with Head, Mrs Hall or Head of Early Years, Mrs Cole. These are by appointment only during term time.
Book HereAPPLICATION PROCESS
If you would like apply for a place for your child, we ask for an application form together with a £100 registration fee (if applicant's parents live in the UK/EU) or £150 (if applicant's parents live outside the EU). The registration fee is non refundable.
Once we have received your application and registration fee we will arrange a taster day for your child. Assessment for Prep entry up to Year 3 is based on observation within a class setting. For entry to Year 4 and above children will sit an online computer based assessment. Pupils entering Year 3 mid-year will also sit an assessment.
We will write with an offer of a place, and to accept a £250 deposit and signed contract is required.
