Sixth Form

We are delighted you are considering Kent College Sixth Form for your daughter. Families are invited to visit us throughout the year and appointments can be made with the Admissions Team. We run a Sixth Form Information Evening and Taster Day in the Autumn term, and tours throughout the year. Separate Taster Days can be arranged if required.

For entry to the Sixth Form, candidates are required to have at least six GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, with Grade 6 or above in the subjects being pursued at A Level. Candidates are expected to achieve a Grade 7 or above in Maths and the Sciences if they wish to study these subjects at A Level.

We hope you and your daughter will spend time getting to know us in advance of applying for a place and joining us.

Candidates applying for the Sixth Form will be invited for an assessment day where they will be observed in A Level/BTEC lessons and have an interview with a member of the Sixth Form staff team.

In making an offer we will take into consideration predicted GCSE grades, latest school reports and request a reference from your daughter's current school.

A formal offer of a place will be made in writing. To accept a place we require a signed contract and deposit of £600 for a day place (UK/EU), £900 for a boarding place (UK/EU) and term's boarding fees for a boarding place (non UK/EU). Deposits now include VAT.
